Google Buzz’s official Youtube video introduction:
Sergey Brin video interview in which he speaks about Google Buzz:
The Google Buzz launch event video:

The article in Business Week projects that Google’s display ad sales will top $1 billion this year with Youtube contributing to the majority of the revenues. Additionally, Business Week notes that TV and print ad dollars are shifting to online advertising.
Business Week continues to state that Google helps advertisers measure the effectiveness of display ads with their Campaign Insights tool. I said, “We knew that effect was there before, but now we are able to quantify it.”
The article ends with a quick comparison to Yahoo’s strength in selling display advertising.

The Google Chrome browser if finally available for Mac! The Google Chrome browser has been available for PCs since September of 2008 and over a year later, we finally get it for Macs. I have used Chrome on my PC since it was first released, and I absolutely love it.
The Google Chrome download page makes three simple promises: Fast Start-up, Fast Loading, and Fast Search. I think this is a brilliant marketing technique on behalf of Google and also a far stretch away from the very thorough comic they released when Chrome was first released for PCs. The comic went into great detail explaining all the technical reasons why Chrome was supreme to other browsers. I think it was a hit with techies, but Google definitely got it right for the everyday user… just promise us speed!
Here’s the entire comic if you’re interested. I actually loved it.

Google acquires AdMob to catch up with Microsoft and Yahoo. Admob is a mobile display ad provider and Google handed over $750 million for the company. The following image is from Google’s official posting about the acquisition and it provides a clear example of where Google was in the mobile space and where they will be going with the AdMob technology.

Two Google Wave product managers named Stephanie and Greg made the following video. They are brilliant! The video is only 8 minutes long and it sums up a lot of the cool features for Google Wave…
Here’s the entire 80 minute video that was originally released by Google in case you want to check it out…

Google Monopoly: Is it an online board game or a topic on antitrust laws? In a stroke of SEO genius, Google partners with Hasbro to release the online board game called Monopoly City Streets. Forum discussions, news results, and blog posts about the board game rise in search engine rankings, pushing other publications about “The big scary Google monopoly” aside.

CNN - Ken Auletta: 10 things Google has taught us – Oct. 26, 2009 .
I absolutely loved reading this article. It was very inspiring and insightful so I plan to purchase Ken’s book titled Googled: The End of the World As We Know It. Below are the 10 things Ken Auletta states that Google has taught us (all taken directly from the CNN article):

1. Passion wins
2. Focus is required
3. Vision is required too
4. A team culture is vital
5. Treat engineers as kings
6. Treat customers like a king
7. Every company is a frenemy
8. Don’t ignore the human factor
9. There are no certitudes
10. Life is long but time is short
Point #10 above is a quote from Eric Schmidt, according to Ken Auletta. Eric continues: “Life is long in the sense that we have long memories. Time is short in that you have to move very quickly. But to me the most important thing to know is that life has a way of working things out. We forget so quickly what the problem was three or four years ago. So my personal view of life is that every problem is an opportunity.”

Google rolled out a new experiment called Social Search , which shows search results based on relevance determined by people in your social circle. Unreal!
You can try Google Social Search out in Google Labs. Here’s a video that explains more…
Google determines your social circle by analyzing the friends in your Google profile, Gmail, and even people following you on Twitter. You must be signed in to your Google account in order for it to work. I’m a huge fan of this feature!
