CNN - Ken Auletta: 10 things Google has taught us – Oct. 26, 2009 .
I absolutely loved reading this article. It was very inspiring and insightful so I plan to purchase Ken’s book titled Googled: The End of the World As We Know It. Below are the 10 things Ken Auletta states that Google has taught us (all taken directly from the CNN article):

1. Passion wins
2. Focus is required
3. Vision is required too
4. A team culture is vital
5. Treat engineers as kings
6. Treat customers like a king
7. Every company is a frenemy
8. Don’t ignore the human factor
9. There are no certitudes
10. Life is long but time is short
Point #10 above is a quote from Eric Schmidt, according to Ken Auletta. Eric continues: “Life is long in the sense that we have long memories. Time is short in that you have to move very quickly. But to me the most important thing to know is that life has a way of working things out. We forget so quickly what the problem was three or four years ago. So my personal view of life is that every problem is an opportunity.”

I found a great article today on CNN about Digital Mapping.
Cars with 6 cameras, lasers, and GPS drive streets across the world, capturing information that is used for services such as Google Maps.

Here’s a great article on CNN:
What are the most dangerous search terms on the Internet? – CNN.com.
The article sites keywords that have been targeted by hackers and malware. Some of the “riskiest terms” include: word unscrambler, lyrics, myspace, free music downloads, phelps, game cheats, printable fill-in puzzles, free ringtones and solitaire.
