Mashable is basically a blog that updates several times a day with the most current news in the social media space. Find out what giants like Google, Facebook, and Myspace are doing these days along with new up and comers like iMapWeather, Zankyou, and ConnectedAds. Of course, expect an article a day on Twitter as it’s on fire these days.

Google Latitude is a service for mobile phones and Google maps that allows you to see where your friends are located. Additionally, your friends can see your own whereabouts.

Some are worried that Google Latitude infringes on user privacy, but I don’t see this as an issue since users must opt-in for the service.
